Wish List: Madeline Weinrib Rugs

Left: White and Black Endless; Right: Goldenrod Song
Madeline Weinrib, a designer of absolutely beautiful carpets, fabrics and accessories, has just opened a new showroom at 126 Fifth Avenue. Her gorgeous rugs - painterly combinations of color, pattern and texture - have topped our wishlist for a while now. She's especially good at referencing traditional themes to create designs that somehow look entirely modern. On our recent trip to India we noticed colors and motifs similar to those in Weinrib's work. We're especially obsessed with the combination of bright orange and pink that we saw everywhere in India and we're glad she is too.
