For Anthropologie’s store in Little Rock, EOA created a façade of translucent and clear glass, sliding through volumes of reclaimed cedar and concrete stacked tiles to filter the strong light of the area. Our in-house surface design team created laser-cut blackened steel screens with a design based on the Little Rock State Flower, the apple blossom. These screens filter light into the entryway, drawing the shopper inside the store where the screen appears again, concealing a skylight that frames the entry to the fitting room. A custom plaster finish that matches the pattern of the screens lines the fitting room walls.
