A branding agency, with a tight budget, required simple yet dramatic moves to express the personality of the office upon first entering the space. Using their trademark color, orange, panels of bright vinyl were custom fabricated by an automobile upholsterer. The panels were designed to float away from the ceiling and floor and have small slots of space between them. Organized in a straightforward manner to simply divide the public entry area from the private work space, they created a memorable first impression while also providing acoustical buffering. An elegant ripple fold curtain conceals the closet while also creating a theatrical backdrop to the receptionist’s desk. The project elements were carefully edited and articulated for maximum effect.
