Located in the historic Utica Square shopping center, EOA created a warm and contemporary space for the women’s retailer Anthropologie using a materials palette to evoke the spirit of Oklahoma. The street façade is designed with blocks of cedar planks wrapping from the exterior to the interior.. Large glass volumes intersecting wood blocks create display space while other windows are carved out of a large red plaster wall. The red wall continues to the interior of the store, anchoring an elegant open stairway that leads to the fitting rooms overlooking the multi-level store below.
