Brown

This single family town home located in the Historic Landmarked neighborhood of Greenwich Village was entirely renovated, inside and out, to restore its natural character. The renovation included clarifying the spaces on each floor, simplifying the stair configuration, lowering the slab in the cellar and garden space, restructuring the rear masonry wall to accommodate new taller windows. creating a new front facade, installing new windows and shutters, new heating and air conditioning systems, new interior finishes including wide plank pine floors and custom built-in furniture (some of which required providing built-in areas to accommodate owner-provided pieces and new electrical and plumbing). The rear garden and roof terrace were designed and built in collaboration with a Landscape Architect.
