Ippolita

The firm renovated an existing Brooklyn townhouse for jewelry designer Ippolita Rostagno. She had recently purchased the top two floors and needed to integrate them into the floors below. An entirely new open steel and wood staircase, flanked by a pale dove grey Venetian plaster wall threads through the entire house bringing light to the lower levels and stitching them together. The Master Suite occupies the third floor while the top floor houses her creative design studio. Custom cabinetry, in walnut and blackened steel, new herringbone floors and one of a kind Venetian plaster murals create a sense of craft and organic elegance.
